Our Story

In early 2011, Construction with Destiny (“CWD”) began a whirlwind of a journey...

CWD’s managing director and owner, Luke de Vries, always had a passion for carpentry,
buildings, and gadgets. Luke’s grandfather, Cecil Pyle, had been a major
inspiration to Luke since his time as an apprentice with a multi-national
construction company to this day as builder, project manager and director. Over
the years and during the course of establishing himself in the building
industry, Cec passed down valuable keys that Luke has always held close to his
heart.

"Mark of Excellence" is CWD’s distinctive quality and trademark.

Whether facilitating a specialist fit-out, creating a new building, overseeing
developments or project managing, this Mark of Excellence is lived out in
quality workmanship, great product knowledge and thorough execution in all
aspects of the job.

At CWD, we prioritise our relationships with clients and place a premium on understanding
their goals through effective communication. We create a positive ‘team’
culture with sub-contractors who share our passion for quality.

Our name is our nature. We destine in each project we undertake and through all the aspects we bring to the trade: integrity, innovation and quality workmanship. Our team
of highly experienced carpenters synergise with architects and designers who
share our commitment to excellence in order to realise our client’s vision and
go beyond their expectations.
